I grew up dancing, dreaming of the West End and trained professionally at a prestigious dance college, but life had other plans. An injury ended my performing career– before I knew it, I was thrown into the high-pressure world of corporate life as an Executive Assistant. Long hours, relentless stress and an unhealthy relationship with food took their toll on me… eventually leading to burnout, depression and a deep disconnect from my own body.
Determined to find a better way, I began exploring the power of nutrition. What started as a personal healing journey soon became a calling. I trained for three years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, qualifying as a Registered Nutritional Therapist in 2019. I then added Neuro-Linguistic Programming to my toolkit, recognising that our relationship with food is always deeper than just what’s on our plate.
But even armed with all this knowledge, I still struggled with PMS, ovarian cysts, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and pre-cancerous cells in the lining of my womb.
Inspired to truly understand my cycle rather than fight against it, I trained in the world’s first certified Menstrual Cycle Coaching Course. Bringing together different disciplines and modalities, I created the FEM Balance® Method: a holistic 360-degree approach to women’s health and wellbeing through food, emotions and menstrual cycle syncing.
